“We sent our dog, Hoagie, for a 2 week board and train with Alana and not only did he come back with a new level of understanding expectations/guidelines but we were able to accept him with a new level of understanding him. We were kept in the loop through his entire training process, and practiced the culmination of these things during his “Welcome Home” lesson. “I had a great time working with Alana over the past few weeks for in-home sessions with my puppy! I was having trouble training my Australian Shepherd on my own, and Alana helped me to understand the dogs body language, how to anticipate and correct reactivity issues I was experiencing, and how to work to improve her leash walking. I have an almost 2 year old Heeler/Pomeranian mix named Toby. He has so much energy and is a lot to handle at times. Toby and I had a training session with Alana to address some issues including his obsession with chasing after and barking at our cats, jumping on people, and harassing our other dog. Alana was amazing! She has such a way with animals. She is calm, thorough and gave me numerous “tools” to use when Toby starts acting up. We cant wait to book more sessions with the Canine Cowgirl!

“When we got our second rescue, Wendy, she was proving much more difficult than our first girl. She was having a very hard time settling down, leaving the cat alone and concentrating. We would try to teach her and we would just get a blank, dead stare, like everything was going in one ear and out the other. Alana came in and after just one lesson we could see the wheels spinning in her head and that she was starting to think things through. After the three in home lessons we have noticed huge improvements in her ability to control her energy levels, making good choices around the cat and thinking things through before acting impulsively. There is still work to be done, but Alana gave us the tools to continue working on these things. We highly recommend!”
